General approval process

Once a user has created an entry (or amended an existing entry), they have to request approval before it is published. This request will be submitted and remain in the ‘Update Requests' section until a Global Administrator approves it.

The requestor receives email notifications both on request for approval and approval completion. Other roles do not. Note: This means that users who are responsible for content approvals must proactively monitor the ‘Update Requests’ page.
